569339 Bayeux
This pattern was made from stones extracted from a
quarry near Caen. This mould faithfully reproduces the
surface of the Caen stone. The masonry bond typical of
Normandy can also be found in other regions of France. This structure combines aesthetics and technique with the advantage that it can be toothed-out, so that a varied look can be achieved without unsightly joints.
