Versatile concrete design with NOEplast

Concrete is a building material that is uniquely suited for the individual design of buildings. There are hardly any limits when it comes to choosing designs. Geometric or abstract shapes can be designed just as easily as surfaces that look like natural stone, masonry, or even wood.

NOEplast for more individual formliner design

Planners are increasingly demanding high, individual requirements for formwork. NOEplast formliners meet the highest standards and elevate the design of concrete facades to a new level. Designs for new concrete formliners are usually created in collaboration with artists, designers, and architects who seek a special concrete design for their construction project. This way, new formliners are simultaneously created, which - after approval - NOE later includes in its large selection of standard designs.

Additionally, NOE employees continuously monitor the market and identify new trends. This results in NOEplast formliners with innovative concrete structures. Today, NOE already has over 180 structures in its range, suitable for a variety of construction tasks. The trend towards more individuality also leads to increasing demands for completely new designs. Naturally, we are happy to accommodate these requirements and, in close cooperation with our clients, realize some striking NOEplast motifs.

New dimension in concrete design with NOEplast formliners

Thanks to modern CAD technology, the production of formliners has changed compared to the past. The implementation incorporates not only technology but also the decades of experience gained by NOEplast specialists. From the initial design to the finished end product, they support planners with advice and assistance. In addition to computer-designed structures, casts or hand-drawn sketches also serve as templates.

NOE employees advise clients on all technical possibilities and the implementation of the desired concrete structure. This includes casting an existing object as well as creating new concrete matrices. For this purpose, the in-house workshop manufactures formliners according to the design specifications for architectural concrete.

With innovative solutions for patterned concrete, efficiently using formliners

From CAD application data, elastic molds can be created for a unique concrete pattern. The desired design is milled into the material by a state-of-the-art CNC machine. Depending on the motif, wood, Ureol, or polyurethane are used. The mold can be coated with a lacquer as needed. NOEplast formliners for concrete design offer two unique advantages in the market:

To efficiently use formliners for concrete, high dimensional stability must be guaranteed. Therefore, NOE concrete matrices have a fiber backing. This also improves tear resistance and saves time. Before glueing the formliner, it does not need to be sanded. On construction sites, fixing the formliner to a carrier element or formwork can sometimes be challenging, especially in adverse weather conditions or on uneven surfaces.

NOE offers clients a unique market solution to this problem. The formliners can be glued to plywood or directly to the formwork in our own workshop. The pre-assembled elements are then delivered to the concrete plant or directly to the construction site and can be used immediately. The work is scheduled according to project planning.

Diverse concrete patterns from a Reliable Partner

Every construction project is unique. NOE sees itself as a partner for clients, bringing decades of experience to bear throughout the entire duration of the project. Services include support with design creation, tendering, and scheduling. This ensures that everyone involved in the project knows the order in which the formliners should be applied. The extensive experience of NOE employees increases efficiency. NOE assits you to optimize the use of formliners for your project. The goal is to maximize the reusability of the formliners and to find the most economical solution.

The formliners are designed for the simplest possible use by the client. The formliner is applied to the formwork and treated with a release agent. Then, the concrete is poured. Once it has cured, the facade panel is demolded. This process can be repeated over 100 times with high-quality NOE formliners. Depending on their size and thickness, the tools can reach a considerable weight. A specially designed crane suspension system facilitates transport and use on construction sites. Additional accessories help to optimize product use, including release wax specifically developed for the NOEplast formliner. Special cleaners ensure effective cleaning and prepare the formliner for the next concrete design. For large construction projects, it is worthwhile to create models at a scale of 1:1 or 1:2 to test the design's impact before project implementation. Additionally, NOE offers training to give concrete an appealing design using formliners.

With formliners, concrete can be enhanced with a variety of motifs. These include wood, masonry, stone, and plaster, as well as ornaments, lettering, dates, and free-form structures. Almost any design can be realized.
